Black Republicans

On a Mission to Raise the Value of Black America's Political Capital

What should the GOP do to get more Blacks to join them?

There was a time when Blacks were staunch members of the Republican Party, until the "New Deal" of the 1930s made them weak and dependent on the government to take of them. What do you think should be done to educate liberal Blacks about the GOP?

You miss the support that the worst states in the country give to republicans....Ren poorest states in the country..

Alabama, North Carolina, Kentucky, South Carolina , Montana

Louisiana, West Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi

.And what has the GOP done for Black people in the last 50-60 years...???...And why would anybody Black or white , democrat or republican , want to go back the same stupif Bush policies that got us in this mess...???

Also do you have an explanarion for the invitation given to white supremacisits to speak at a CPAC covention...An event that also had three presidental candidates speaking...

If the GOP wants any support in the Black communinty other than the token support it gets now..They tell the GOP to STOP THE RACISM...why is that so hard for Black conservatives to figure out...???

This is a good question and I come across opportunities to educate liberal Blacks almost every day. I am almost completely surrounded by a sea of Democrats, a large number of them African American. Starting with family and friends I survived the Obama Mania that swept the Black community and helped sweep Obama to victory. It wasn't easy but we stood fast. Now with the next election upon us, in hindsight the community has had almost four years to observe Obama in office. I simply point out all the examples where the Black community blindly supports the Democratic Party such as Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, fill in the blank big city, and you see the result of Democratic Party/liberal failure. Most thinkiing people eventually connect the dots.

As a former member of the Democratic Party, I left the Democratic Party better than a decade ago, because the Democratic Party through an inept elected black leadership and numerous poverty pimping preachers uses the black community for votes, poverty pimping preachers receive gratutities in exchange for delivering the black vote to the Democratic Party, and the black community receives nothing in return but further oppression from these same Democratic Party affiliated leaders, and jurisdictions.

This does not excuse the Republican Party, in that U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has also betrayed U.S. born blacks.

Republican Party and the Democratic Party elected officials and/or Administrations, must live up to the essence of our Constitution,  the rule of law,  USC, 14th Amendment....."Equal Justice and Protection Under the Law", etc., etc., to lure more U.S. born black people from all walks of life to support or join the Party.

The democratic party is not wonderful and there are a good number of Black elected officials who have come up short ..But if you look at the money trail coming from the GOP it is going to preachers and anti-Black conservatives that seem to always sgow up on Foxnoise telling the world how horrible Black people are and how people like Rush Limpballs are not racist...I will give you props for admitting the truth about Clarence Thomas and his life long quest to go above and beyond the call of a knee-grow...

One thing republicans have not figured out is that in order to get minority votes , these same minorities must be allowed a seat at the table...not crumbs that "trickle down" from the table....Also without the election if Obama there would no Blacks in the GOP congress...

President's Oath of Office: "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Congressional Oath of Office: I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

“There are cases where an individual has been wrongfully treated by his government and about the only way, unless the individual resorts to court, and even in some cases the courts are not able to give proper relief, the only area or avenue open to the individual is through his representative. When you find a bona fide error has been made, I suggest that you make a maximum effort to remedy it. This I feel is a vital and important function of those of us in the House of Representatives.”

(The above excerpt The Job of the Congressman holds true for any elected office holder, and/or U.S. Citizen.)

http://www.usconstitution.net/const.html#Article6

US Constitution, Article I - The Legislative Branch: "The House of Representatives shall chuse their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment."

Impeachment: Proceeding by a legislature for the removal from office of a public official charged with misconduct in office. Impeachment comprises both the act of formulating the accusation and the resulting trial of the charges; it is frequently but erroneously taken to mean only the removal from office of an accused public official.

jack thomas.......

.......the letter of the law, the Constitution makes it plain that any member of the House of Representatives has the power and authority to recommend to the entire "House of Representatives" to impeach a public official....such as U.S. Supreme Court Clarence Thomas....who definitely has a history of showing contempt for the Constitutional Rights of law abiding U.S. citizens.......

http://www.ceyseau.net/BOClarenceThomas.html

.....one of many being John Thompson......egregiously violated by government.....which is an impeachable and serious offense.

President Barack Obama, ....the Congressional Black Clueless....AKA.....Congressional Black Caucus, any other black members of the U.S. House of Representatives who have the power and influence to recommend that no good Clarence Thomas be impeached....and thus far not a one of these individuals are doing this or even step up to the plate to use his or her influence to uphold the U.S. Constitution, his or her oath of office to serve any U.S. born black man or woman in this fashion. Caucasian influence and Caucasian money cannot stop any elected official from exercising this duty. Be it any past or present elected black leaders at the Federal level of government.....there is no excuse for the silence and inaction on the part of President Barack Obama, the Congressional Black Caucus, any other black members (Republican) of the U.S. House of Representatives who have the power and influence to recommend that no good Clarence Thomas be impeached.

It is not in the best interest of any Caucasian, Hispanic, Jewish, etc., etc., etc., elected official to be the first to step up to the plate to remove a Clarence Thomas and/or other treasonous black public servants, when law abiding black men and women are egregiously violated by the crimes of government.

I commend you, Marvin Stewart, former Board Director of the Minuteman Project and other Minutemen, for your understanding of a most important function of all elected officials and the duty of elected officials to respect the Constitution and his or her oath of office when serving U.S. citizens and legal immigrants.

.....and Marvin Stewart, etc., etc., you definitely have a concise understanding of the "oath of office" and the duty of all elected officials to respect the U.S. Constitution or a respective State Constitution ..... a necessary characteristic that does not exist as it concerns past and present day elected black leaders who are sworn under oath and who actually hold the office.

Bring the message to where Blacks live, whether this is affluent areas or not.  We live in Trenton, NJ and are Committeepeople - but my wife, Tamara, and I get little to no support or direction from Party higher-ups before or between elections.  We are the political diversity where we live and our local GOP just humors us when we go to the County Convention, etc.  If 2004, I was at first refused Bush doorhangers by my County GOP -  because they ridiculously thought that this would rile up many voters in our City and these same voters would hurt GOP candidates in the suburbs and state-wide elections.

This incident (and Maxine Waters appearing in Trenton a few days earlier ) was the impetus for our documentary film, FEAR OF A BLACK REPUBLICAN.  My wife and I spent 6 1/2 years making the film to find out why there were so few Black Republicans and what that means for the greater Two-Party System for Everyone.  We didn't find all the answers, but got a lot of good ones that our own Party officials and Precinct Chairman should see.  The Country is changing and our Republican Party needs to change with it, without giving up its principles.  This is completely possible.

If you are interested in learning more about our film, please visit us at www.fearofablackrepublican.com.  We just toured the South, Southwest and Midwest with the film and are in the middle of a Kickstarter Campaign to bring FEAR OF A BLACK REPUBLICAN to New York City for a week.

President Obama: 'I'm Not The President of Black America by Myeisha Essex

President Barack Obama has strategically strayed away from conversations particular to any one ethnic group. But as the nation's first African-American president, by default, he is often asked about plans geared toward the Black community.

In a recent interview with Black Enterprise POTUS reiterates that he is not "the president of Black America."

"I am the president of the United States of America," he said.

The president's words came in response to criticism that his administration has not supported Black businesses. "My general view has been consistent throughout, which is that I want all businesses to succeed," he said. "I want all Americans to have opportunity."

The president also defended existing programs to help Black businesses. "I’ll put my track record up against anybody in terms of us putting in place broad-based programs that ultimately had a huge benefit for African-American businesses," he said.

President Barack Obama…the Statute of Liberty, the U.S. Constitutio...!

It is true that Barack Obama is not the President of Black America.  The President is under oath to serve all U.S. citizens and legal immigrants.

It is also true that BO was born in "Kenya" and President Barack Obama is a liar, a fraud, inept and truly disgraceful.

http://www.presidentsusa.net/qualifications.html

Qualifications for the Office of President

Age and Citizenship requirements - US Constitution, Article II, Section 1

No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident within the United States.

It is also true that BO was born in "Kenya" and President Barack "the Magic Negro- the Food Stamp President-anti private business owner and discrediting the wealthy" Obama is a liar, a fraud, inept and truly disgraceful.

The fact that Barack "the Magic Negro- the Food Stamp President" Obama's birthplace is Kenya would and should disqualify and void his connection to the Presidency.

I'm in full agreement.

But is also true that:

1. A U.S. President is under oath to serve all U.S. citizens and legal immigrants.

2. President Barack Obama is truly inept and dysfunctional as it concerns serving all U.S. citizens and legal immigrants, as the oath of office for President of the United States mandates.

3. U.S. born black men, women, and/or his or her siblings are a subset of all U.S. citizens.

4. President Barack Obama is a liar, a hypocrite, a "Chicago Cutthroat" and/or a disgrace to the essence of what it means to be an elected official because he will stoop to the disgrace of lying, or using unfounded material to discredit the good character of one or more opposing candidates to win an election.

Well I see that the question still remain.  We are not really doing anything to bring about a change with in our communities. We talk a good game but no action.  here are too many lables f people with different ideas or living in different communities.  For the most part the "REPUBLICANS" that are on this site seems to be of a "CLASS" thinking folks.   We need to stop pointing fingers at people with lables like liberals and conservatives, etc. Please tell me the difference between the two? We are so bent on name dropping or photo opps that we don't have a goal nor an agenda to move our community nor people to the next level. What can we do to get more blacks in the GOP. check the following;

1. be for real

2. set goals

3. stop labeling others

4. Get off the the greater than thou kick

5.

Being the new guy, I should probably stay out of Ron and Jacks discussion. But being the person I am, I won't LOL I understand what Jack is saying about the GOP. It is a stigma that they have because what they believe. That we should all work hard to better ourselves and they do not have a good way of going about getting that message out without giving the empression to blacks that they are racist. I have been a Conservative Republican for 45 years and have been involved in local campaigning in my home state of Michigan and a little in Tennessee sinse retiring here in 2005. And I have also attended some Tea Party meetings, but have not actually joined. To date, and I know this might shock some people, but I have never heard the first racist remark from anyone at these meetings. The left wing drills this into the black communities heads and a lot of people believe it as the truth. And Jack made a lot of comments about the GOP that I do not agree with without some kind of proof, but that is what is great about our country. We get to voice our opinions without fear of reprisal.
