Socialist is being used incorrectly when it come to Obama. I been involved in the politicial process for some time and what I found out about both party what goes on in public is not what happens in close session. Our party get tag with given big business favor but small business owner create the most jobs is this socialism on our part. My oppinion of the DC voucher system was a reward for their support. Just my oppinion Obama went to private school during his childhood and now his kid's attend private school how could he be against a quailty education. Therefore, I would like for you to explan socialism in term of governing don't point to other countries form of governance because we are American's.
This is what I stand on and believe: " We the Peopleof the Untited States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of liberty to ourselves and Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the Untied States of America.
Permalink Reply by Wayne Johnson on November 17, 2009 at 1:48am Socialism - a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.
Socialist - one who advocates or practices socialism
Obama is a Socialist, because he advocates and practices the art of socialism. This definition rings true from the US to Zimbabwe. Therefore, since the Republican Party does NOT advocate for Socialism, then he will never, ever be a republican.
As for the school voucher program, Obama SPECIFICALLY ended that program. Obama ended that program because he is beholden to the NEA and the AFT, two teacher unions who supported him. Neither of these unions like the idea of giving people a choice in education. You SAY Obama is for quality education, but that is only for HIS kids... NOT anyone else. No, EVERYONE else gets to go to the public school... no matter how horrid they are. That is just like a good Marxist/Socialist. That is Obama's belief system.

Permalink Reply by Natalie Cartledge on November 17, 2009 at 7:18am I don't know Obama's belief system. My opinion is from the outside looking in and for the record I am a loyal, proud and true Republican. I confident in our republican form of government and the strenght of this republic. If we as Republican stay foucs on the core principle of this country more people will support our leadership.
When we as Amercian loss our property right's, voting right's and the right to earn a wage this happen once in history. But for now let's deal with your view that Obama is a socialist/marxist based on stopping the DC school voucher system. Because based on your definition we were living under a socialist and marxist system before January 20, 2009.

Permalink Reply by Derrick Perry on November 17, 2009 at 6:12pm There is no perfect system per se,so if the Republican Party doesn't want a Socialist/Marxist system....then what do we want? I know the GOP wants the Presidency in 2012,but we need to fix these problems BEFORE we take it back.
Permalink Reply by Wayne Johnson on November 18, 2009 at 5:59am Socialism/Marxism? Hello, SOVIET UNION, ZIMBABWE, CUBA, HAITI???? Those are the models of Socialism/Marxism. WE DON'T want that!!! What we want is capitalism, where people are able to gain their OWN wealth and KEEP it. They are rewarded for their hard work. We want a government that is NOT THERE to bother us, doesn't steal money from us, and is not in our business.
How about the government as it was expressed in the constitution? A Federal government.

Permalink Reply by gregory hays on March 20, 2012 at 12:26am i agree but president obama is a devolt socialist which is the same as being a communist which is a form of slavery but sad to say, most african american are too blind to see that this is the direction they are going and they don't even know it because for years we have been brainwashed by so called black leaders who are telling us that the replubican party is racists and those especially blacks who join the party are sellouts, uncle toms, oreos, tolkens, and traiters.
