Romney at NAACP

Just a word of thank you to the members who keep us posted on the political scene. The information is well received and sometimes invaluable. You never know which little kernel is going to turn out to be a valuable piece of information to one of the members. From time to time members have broached the subject of how to defend against attacks from some of our more liberal brothers and sisters.
I have always suggested just giving them the facts of what the policies of the Democratic Party have accomplished for us with 95% of the Black Vote and over 14% Black Employment. Let's not even talk about the Black Jail population. Anyway, I spent a fair amount of time today listening to the political pundits and listening to the community. The fact that Obama did not attend the NAACP meeting will come back to haunt Obama and the Democratic Party.
This event has given an audience to a segment of the Black Community that has already begun to question Black allegiance to that Party. This was just another indication of how theDemocratic Party has taken the Black vote for granted. I applaud Romney for his courage.

Let's show our support for Ron Mosby.

Ron is seeking to serve as Representative in the 32nd Ohio House district.

Ron and his family have lived in North College Hill since 1997. He obtained his wealth of understanding local and state governments by serving as a chief of staff for three members of Cincinnati City Council, and as a Public Information Officer for the Ohio Department of Transportation. Don' forget that Ron Paul advcates shutting dept of ed, thus local control. Public schools have been in decline since its inception and I have the research. The public schools are beyond repair.

Larry, I am interested in knowing more about your thoughts on school reform.  That is one of my primary platform issues for my campaign.  I think the best thing any Presidential candidate can say is that education should be administered at the state and local level.

As many readers know, I have been busy pursuing a Ph.D. in Education to compliment my law degree, so forgive me for being absent at times. Nonethe less, the energy of the education reform movement has not waned. I followed closely the failure of Kentucky to pass a bill allowing charter schools in the state, one of the last remaining holdouts. I am looking forward to sharing with you some of my research findings. Romney seems to be saying the right things about school choice and we support his position. Education equality is the most important civil rights issue of our day.
