For decades, the President of the United States has arguably been the most powerful person in the whole world. So, what does it mean for the prospect of our children’s future when the President of the United States stands boldly and says, “They wouldn’t let me.”

I am confused as to how a Presidency that began on the premise of “Yes We Can,” can still motivate by saying, “They wouldn’t let me.”

I question how anyone can continue to depict the Democrats as the real champions of the supposed underdogs when the leader of the Democrat party’s only excuse for not doing more during his four years in office is to say, “They wouldn’t let me.”

I wonder how leaders of the Democrat party can call the members of the Republican party idiots when the Harvard educated leader of the free world cannot find a way to outwit such idiots and simply says, “They wouldn’t let me.”

For those of you who are planning on going FORWARD with more of the same old blame game, I, along with my fellow conservatives, hope and pray that after the November election, you can only say, “They wouldn’t let me.”

Looks like I'm not the only one that's been busy this year.  Sorry I've been gone for so long...lots of family stuff to deal with this year.  I hope everyone is doing well.

As some of you know, we have 6 black republicans running for the legislature this fall in Louisiana.  One in particular, Barbara Thomas, is running to represent the district that includes Southern University.  After reading this recent post on facebook, it's clear that this won't be an easy trip.

"The Republican Party is trying to use Black Republicans to sway us into their legislative trap, just as trappers used Black individuals to capture us for the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade. My Black people, if we are not careful, we may find history repeating itself very very soon!!! VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! AND IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE VOTING FOR, FIND OUT DAMN IT!!!! "

Please visit Barbara's website, www.barbarathomas.net, and consider how you might support her efforts to put Families First in Louisiana as the State Representative for District 63.

Yes. Don't forget that today is the last day for early voting in the DFW area run-off elections!  For a list of early voting locations in Tarrant County, please visit the website I created for the Republican Women of Arlington:

It is interesting that some of the reviews put down the movie because they thougth the events in the plot were totally expected.  ie:  the young preacher giving his kidney, the father shot the son.  And also that the policemen were not wearing seat belts.  They obviously were hardened to letting the holy spirit move within them.

I saw the movie, "The Grace Card" yesterday.  It was a multi-faceted view of some of the problems today as we deal with tragedy, racism, understanding our youth, marriage, understanding or miss-understanding ourselves, full-filling our goals and more.  I found I could mostly relate to all the characters at one time or another and although it was a Christian movie the compelling problems affect us all and the solutions offerred to all are not just for Christians.

Any more update on focusing on the colleges?
