The issue of education reform is not going away. The things we all seem to agree on are choice and the importance of education as character building. As we consider this issue, I have come across three books that have been especially enlightening, I would like to share them with you, and they are:
1. W.E.B. DuBois, "Souls of Black Folk"
2. Thomas Sowell, "Education: Assumptions versus History"
3. Paulo Freire, "Pedagogy of the Oppressed"
I am sure there are others and I would welcome their addition to this list.
