President Obama attending the House Republican retreat in Baltimore is a first step in listening to Americans and true bi-partisanship.

Obama should continue the exchange with the Republicans just like “Prime Minister’s Questions” in British Parliament, LIVE every Wednesday 7 AM (afternoon their time) ON CSPAN.

This can be once a month – alternating the House and the Senate Republicans.

Then Obama may know what the PEOPLE want and govern as THE REPRESENTATIVE AND NOT KING OR MESSIAH. Jesus already came and HE is not Obama.

Otherwise, this “one time” show up to a meeting is lip service and window dressing. We African-Americans know about this one. Photo op at a meeting, a free meal and maybe a giveaway and that is outreach.

Republicans we must teach outreach or Coalitions for they do not have clue!

I agree Obama had to allow follow ups though like they do in Britian. The GOP meeting in Maryland was so micro managed that Obama came off looking like he was lecturing the GOP. Shame on whoever in the Party set this thing up to allow him to do that.
