If one accepts conservative's premise that liberals control American media is it any wonder inventive individualists like Black superhero-themed activists are under-reported?
 
Liberalism at its worst presumes Black folks are pets needing benevolent guidance from above.
 
Highly creative, autonomous advocates tackling inner city crime and decline on our own runs afoul of the pet theory. Defending our neighborhoods removes the need for outside oversight.
 
Black safety groups like MadDads don't get comparable coverage to what the Left lavishes upon gangs; crack dealers and crack abusers- notorious security threats to the inner city and society as a whole! To some, these aberrations represent state-of-the-art Black functioning.
 
Dangerman http://www.thedangerman.com/ is a Studio City, CA-based "superhero" whose colorful campaign against inner city crime and illiteracy would earn him national print and electronic media coverage but for the fact he's Black and therefore ineligible to personally combat inner city problems. Change his color and he'd be famous.
 
I don't know his political views but this is my perspective on why his great work hasn't gone viral yet.
 
Liberal racism is subtle but is as harsh as its Far Right counterpart in white washing Black men and women who " don't know their place " which when privately fighting inner city crime is apparently in the bleachers!
 
Black men patrolling dangerous housing projects is outside liberal media comfort zones. Fighting our own criminals horns in on the liberal cottage industry of do-nothing social programs demanding more money for less results!
 
Liberals fear Black "superheroes" because a "superhero" mindset in the inner city means millions of caped ( or cape-less ) crusaders helping themselves instead of waiting for somebody with a big blue " L" on his chest to save them!
