No we didn't the black power movement and the civil rights movements were both targeted by the federal government. The civil rights movement was a failure we got no victories just concessions! Liberty means freedom to say I don't want to serve you go somewhere else! And there is nothing wrong with that but always asking to be let in and seen as a equal is wrong build your own school and etc be free and stop being a dressed up slave! The civil rights movement actually hurt us as a people. Truth be told
